turbo kit for m farmall

I'm thinking about one of the turbo kits advertised for m - 450 farmalls. Anyone know anything about these. Or any good or bad experience. And if so what horse power can you get out of one. And how much with 281 cube compared to 264. 248. Any help appreciated.

There are three guys that have them in our pulling club. It took them a little while to tune them, but once they got them working they are great. I think the one said he is around 100 hp now.

I can't say anything about turbos on Ms but I mounted a turbo on my H and I couldn't be happier! The horsepower and torque increases were unbelievable so I can only imagine what kind of animal a turbo'd M would be like.

Keystone Turbo was very helpful with any and all questions I had they know what they're doing.

Ive got one of the kits from Keystone on my Super M,It took alot of tunin and playin with the govenour, carberatour and timing to get it where i wanted it, Im now makin 95 horse on the PTO at 540RPM. I use the tractor for nothing but tractor pulls and i couldn't be happier. The guys at Keystone were very helpfully and are great to deal with. I have videos on youtube of my M pullin. There under farmerboy2003.

Chris, did you have to modify the air cleaner?

Thanks for the responce. Actually I seen u pull on utube before I posted this. Is that the factory head on ur 264. And did u have to rejet the carb. Thanks. Matt

Yes its the factory head, I did not reject the carb but i did have to drill out the bottom 2 holes on the meetering steam and i also open up the main jet with 1 numbered drill bit size bigger than what fit threw the hole. I also have the motor running at 28-2900rpm. You also have to retard the timing to get rid of preignition, i run 94 octane gas and bumbed my timing up alittle, You really need to be on a dyno to set these things to get maximum power. Also the turbo set up will show you just what kind of shape your motors in. They sure sound sweet though.
