Woods belly mower belt twist

How much twist is suppose to be in the belt on the left and right sides of the tractor. On the left I have 1/4 twist and the right I have 1 full twist but does not look the same as my B.My B has one idler pulley that is a V and one that is flat to run the back side of the belt on. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I'm to lazy to go look at my SA, and try to remember what I saw when I come back in. Woods has a website and manuals you can download--the diagrams will be there.

I think on a cub you have 1/4 twist on the left side and 3/4 on the right.

I have a Woods 306 6ft finish mower under my Farmall H, with Hyd. lift. Works great, & is for sale at $850.00. New are over $3500.00 now. But to answer the Question. I have owners book, so you will have a 3/4 twist on the left side, a 1/4 twist coming off the idler pully going forward. Don,t put on wrong, I,ve been there!!

Yep, I've been there also. If it ain't just exactly right, the belt will NOT stay on.

Whe you adjust the pulleys the one on the drive side should have the most belt showing otherwise it will twist.
