Need some help asap.I have a chance to buy a square grill late sixties Cub LoBoy in good condition at a good price.I need a reg Cub to garden with. Will the final drives from a reg.Cub work on the LoBoy to raise the tractor to the reg Cub height. Also will the reg. Cub front axel work.Thanks.

Yes those parts will bolt on. But it isn't that simple. I would advise that you buy the model you want rather than trying to change one into something else.

The brake rod opening will be pointed down instead of forward. That means you will not have brakes. Don't know if the attaching holes (think there are five) can be rotated 72 or 144 degrees. Depends if they are evenly spaced.

Wardner, he wants to bolt Farmall Cub finals to the Loboy to make it into a Cub.

Like Jim says, it's not that simple.

Just swapping finals, you'll effectively create a nice "funny car" version of a Farmall Cub, with an 8" rake rear to front.

In other words, it will look like it is rolling downhill ALL THE TIME.

You also need the whole front end to get the tractor sitting level.

I already have a front axel from a reg. Cub.I just wanted to know if the final drives from a reg. Cub would bolt to the loboy.I can get the loboy with rebuilt engine, good tires, looks decent with a reg.Cub cult.that still has orig.paint,comp. rock shaft, Cub disk plow, and belly mower for 1500.I figured this would give a little space to invest in a pair of final drives.
