Farmall Super A side dresser

Anyone out there have a side dresser kicking around that they"d consider parting with at a fair price. And/or any thoughts or suggestions on finding them and/or parts for them. There"s a smattering of stuff here and there on EBay but nothing reliably. I haven"t even been able to find a manual that would ID all the parts,chains,etc that I"d need. I"m considering other options but we cultivate and mark rows with our SA so the Farmall version would seem like a great bet. Thanks....

What parts do you have now? Do you need all the chain drives, mounting frames, hoppers, and chains or do you have part of the stuff already? It is doubtful if you will find all the parts in one place unless you get very lucky. You need to be willing to pick up parts and put them together. Chains are usually 1" square chain and you can buy it at any tractor supply house.

I don't have a thing.(including a manual/schematic/etc that shows what I need!). A guy about 30 miles from here has one - not for sale - that I'll probably go take a look at. I see that there are aftermarket hoppers and I've seen a few different style mounting brackets online. I haven't found any drive gears yet. And I'm not sure what else there even is. I'm happy to hear that the chain is standard because At least I know I can track that down!

I have the what's shown in this pic except the planter bottom, it's gone.

Fertilizer drive and planter drive turn freely. Fertilizer hopper is in tough shape and the "gate" that regulates flow is missing.
