WD-9 Hydraulic Coupler Bracket

Does anyone know where to buy the mounting bracket for the hydraulic coupler on a WD-9 (Item 17 – P/N 355687R11) pictured below? I have been looking online and at salvage yards with no success. Also, does anyone know where this bracket gets mounted? My first thought is that it gets sandwiched in the mounting bolt for the spool.

You can't even get basic engine parts for these tractors, and you're expecting to find a rare accessory part? Seriously?

The bracket bolts to the rear center bolt on the deck lid, so the hydraulic ports hang directly above the PTO shaft under the seat.

Maybe he should ask WBrehm. He got pretty lucky on his hydraulic parts.

If you ask me you would be WAY better off to make that part than wait for it to show up on eBay. It looks like simple flat stock with a couple bends. I would make a request for some dimensions/materials (I would guess you might not have to. Somebody might reply in this thread) and make my own.

Do those hydraulic couplers even hook up to ANY standard coupling? (Pioneer, JD, etc) There was one on eBay like a month ago from an M and it looked like some oddball fitting that would be half useless because you would need the same oddball fitting on your implement.

Yeah, i know its a long shot for this bracket, but making one is my backup plan. If anyone has dimensions off of theirs, that would be fantastic.

As far as the coupler goes, mine has pioneer couplers.

Yea,Anyone I ever talked to got past those older type of couplers a long time ago.(Hooking them up was a PITA!!!!)They are troublesome.

Most people(And me) run the newer style couplers in the photo (like off of a 706,I believe?)These work really good!!!

So you just unscrew the factory ones and screw on new ones or the new style pioneer ones fit the old bracket?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I have never researched this area. My WD-9 has 2 way hyd so I am going to need something like this as well.

Its not a stupid question.

Yea ,you replace that older bracket AND hydraulic couplers that are in the diagram pictured in the original post.I was gonna buy those OLDER style, but too many veterans told me to stay away from them!!!!! (They are problematic!!)

They made these with both pipe thread and o ring boos threads I believe.(Mine are pipe thread.)

You will need all that is in the picture. These IH brackets fit the newer IH couplers.Pioneer makes break away couplers like this also, but I dont know if you can swap them back and fourth???(IH coupler in pioneer bracket or vise versa??? Someone "chime" in here on this one!)

They work really well.Just keep them cleaned out and capped up when not using them. ;)

Yes,

Anymore those older style couplers are kinda "oddball"You have to have the OTHER side of the couplers that goes on your implement hoses and they are just as bad with issues too.

They are more of a collector"showpiece" on tractors these days.I wouldnt use them on a regular basis on a "worker tractor" myself.

You can get a full set of brand new breakaways and the mounting bracket, along with the male ends, at Tractor Supply.

Make sure you rigidly mount the bracket, though, because it makes it much easier to attach.
