I installed the gov on the B tonight.
I adjusted the clevis on the right side throttle like you said.
I can't get the throttle shaft back to the last notch for idle and rpm's will not get go to wot when throttle is all the way forward.
And have to move throttle lever about 1/2 way before there is a throttle responce.
I am wondering about the screws on the gov housing. What do they do?
And the springs on the linkage from the hand throttle by the gov? The long spring (is in back)closer to hand lever and short spring in front by fan. It idles very good now.
But just move lever all the way back on the notchs and all the way forward will not get to wot.

I mite have turned the surge bumper spring too high. Take the acorn nut off the bottom of the gov housing then loosen up the jam nut now you can use a screwdriver to back off that spring a few turns. Now you can start engine and check response of throttle. If you want more rpms at high setting back off the bolt at the top as this one adjusts hi rpms at wide open throttle.
