My h has been setting outside for 3 years and the engine and crank are froze. What is the best way to unfreeze the engine and how much torque can I put on the crank to free it. Thanks.

Exhaust open or covered??? If it was covered pull the plugs out and make 100% sure you have no water in the cylinders. If they are dry then fill them with ATF and let it sit a couple weeks. Then set a 12 volt battery in and use short fast taps on the starter button with the plugs out and see if it spins over. Always put the plugs back in to keep dirt etc out. If the cylinder have any water in them forget the ATF your going to need to open the engine up to free it up

If its been setting outside fopr that long pull the head and go from there just quit messing around with snake bite stuff you are only out the price of a head gasket just do it.

If there is water in the cylinders. Can you get electricity to it?If so take a shop vacum reduce the hose down enough that the hose at the end will fit in a spark plug hole.Suck the cylinders out, check to see if there is water in the crank case.If so drain it.Then pour deisel fuel into each cylinder.Put the plugs back in,let it sit for a week or a little more. Then try to turn it over with a 12 volt battery. With the plugs out.If it still is stuck let it sit some more.Deisel has much more detergent in it then any ATF you can find.Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
