I can see the plug it"s a threaded plug with a square hole in it. It"s too small for a 3/8" socket extension and two big for a 1/4"

5/16 square recess.go buy a socket to fit(you may have to buy a set);Take a 3/8 extention and grind down the end to fit;find a short lenght square stock ,grind to fit and use a crescent wrench to turn.

I picked up a set of square drives for my 3/8 socket a few yaers back at Harbor Freight. can't remember price but it wasn't much. included 5/16 and many others.

On mine the little plug with the dopey 5/16" square socket was so tight I had to remove the cover and heat it to move the plug. I replaced it with a regular 3/8 pipe plug.

I found out i had water in the bottom of my transmission, and it had rusted everything in the bottom, including the threads on the drain
plugs. Very hard to get out. Finally had to weld a bolt to it, then wrench that out.
