Questions about 450

281 cubes, 51.25HP at the drawbar and 55.28HP at the PTO as per the Nebraska Tractor Test Report. 5 forward gears plus the TA, which would actually give you 10 forward speeds and 2 in reverse.

HP less than a Harley
About the same number of gears as a ten speed bicycle.

These are some of the reasons why members of the Hells Angles don't ride 450s even if they do have a straight pipe and a wide front end.
 
You may think you are funny but I would suspect that most people would think of you as the south end of a horse heading north.

I couldn't say. It was the only tag I found, and it was on the bell housing part of the torque tube. It did have an "S" suffix if that helps.
 
But if they did they could pull a wagon load of "ol' ladies".

The 450 sounds better than a Harley, to me at least. In fact, the hells angels probably ride green tractors so that things sound right!
