I was wondering if you can put 4 inch pistons in a farmall m and still use the sleeves. Also if a m has a little noise in the rear end when in 5th gear going down the road is that anything to be concern about i plan on pulling it in the 6500 lbs. antique class if i buy it.Thanks.

The overbore sleeve and piston kit has 4 inch pistons. The sleeves are a bit thinner, so the 4 inch pistons fit.

Nearly every M out there already has the overbore kit in it.

i'd bet it already has 4" pistons.
all depends on what kind of noise, whining , clunking,or ticking?

It is just a whining noise not real loud and for the4 inch piston do you have to bore the block to get the biger sleeve in it as for the seller said it has 4 inch in it but the guy he bought it from did' say about the sleeve and i was just wondering if he would have had to bore the block to get them in Thanks
