looks like g263 international engine what is the difference between g263 and c263.

There is no g series engine. I'm sure it is a C263.

There are a few differences between different C263 engines depending on their original application but they will all interchange with a few modifications. Engines used in tractors had cylinder sleeves while other applications and replacement engines were sleeveless. They may have different front covers and backing plate. Sleeved engines have threaded mounting holes at the rear of the block while sleeveless blocks just had the same holes without threads. Changes were made in the cylinder head and pistons so that you need to match the head with the correct style piston.
