What is the correct size or jar number for the Ball Mason jar used on the letter series air cleaners?

Harold of what I can find A-C's used a jar with 2 5/8" thread X 3 1/8" tall and H on up used a jar 3 1/4" thread and 3 7/8" tall. That was for the Dondaldson precleaner.

I believe the correct one was marked "Ball Special".

The size is determined by the number of green toys you have to put in it.

H and M used a "Ball Special" wide mouth, in the one pint size. A, B, and C used a 1/2 pint size.

Any wide mouth jar will work. Mayonaisse, peanut butter, pickles, jelly,etc, etc.
