Pops on his 560

Had to share this pic. My sister sent me a photo of my 73 year old Dad on his 560 the day after getting his heart kick started by the doctor last week. He looks pretty happy to say the least. I don't know what he was going to do but he's hard after it.

His heart has been fibrilating for the past month. Drugs didn't help so they "recharged his battery" with 200 joules. He was awake for it and said he jumped on the table pretty good. Tough old bird!

Wow ! I have to agree I hope I can still take tractor rides when I am 73 . Heck I hope I am still around at 73.

Thanks guys, I hope he stays around as long as possible. I told him about my B purchase and he's really excited about it.

I could get the head done around here (Missouri) but the family is headed out to Montana to see him around July 4th. I'll take it with me so we can work on it together. I've watched him grind hundreds of valves when I was home. My job was to wire brush stuff before he worked it up.

He has the shop to fix anything, he has been a mechanic all his life and had his own shop for 25 years before we moved from Minnesota. He has a giant collection of hit/miss engines that he has restored plus tools and impliments. I'll post some pics when we get back of his "toy house".

In addition to the 560D, he has a WD-9 and another for parts with a hand clutch, a 1939 F20, Allis WD-45, a small MM and a case VAC (I think) with a loader. Might be some other stuff around there that he's hiding as well.
