340 farmall main hyd hose leaks to the pump. Who makes them. I heard of a guy in central WI i think by Oshkosh?

If it is a hose and not a pipe, any hydraulic place or your local tractor dealer can make one in about 10 minutes. If a pipe perhaps the guy does make a new pipe to IH specifications.

If it is anything like a 460-560-660, I think you will find that is only available from the dealer if they still stock it.

OTOH, I did get a NOS one for my 660 on eBay and it was cheap. Otherwise I think you might have to cough up $200-$300.

When the one on our IH 340 blew I got a new one made at Holte's in Baudette. I think the original was 5/8 and that is not common so we went 3/4 and used quite a few adapter fittings. It cost less than $100 including 2 1/2 gal of oil, 10 years ago.

In the same pickle with my 340 utility. Thinking of taking it to a hose place to see if they can put a new hose on the old fittings. If that doesn't pan out, I'm going to look into removing and tapping the cover to accept an off the shelf hose and then get some adapter fittings for the valve end.

New one is around $270.00 Ouch.

Colliflower in our area can make a new hose. Should have the old hose so they install the correct hose ends. Hal

I believe the original poster is referring to part 16 in this picture:

At least that's the hose I need. Part no. 370886R91

Anybody know the thread size on the top fitting?
