F-12 cranking handle ???

I just bought a 1935 F-12 it came with a handle but I think it might not be the correct handle. Also would like to know what holds the handles on the front of the tractors? I see some pictures where the handles are on the tractors while they are running and some with it off. What actually holds the handle on all the time?
Thanks you for any help or pictures of the handles and how they are held in place.

Mine has a hole through both the crank handle and the spindle big enough for a number 10 screw.

Thank you sir! I am sure my crank handle is the wrong one it does not have a hole for a screw to go in.

Alot of them are held on by a nail,or piece of fence
wire...

Thanks! After looking further my handle has been added on to so it can clear the cultivater mounts. It would look strange hanging out that far in front. I may just find a factory handle and see if it will work.
