2/3 of the way down the page is the MTA section,
he has a SM-TA LP with the Long wise tank and a conversion with a Stage I,II crosswise tank.
He might sell the conversion with the crosswise tank. Hope this helps!

John A,
Thank you for the info! but i've been to that site and its of little value to me.
I was hoping someone here actually owned on and new something about it and could give me the Manufactor,Date code if any,and other pertanent info on tank serial tag.
Again thank you!

What information do you have on the tractor tank you are looking at? I can give you a general idea if ,it is correct. Also would be helpful to have the tractor serial number.

Maybe !!!

Here are some tank photos for what you are looking for. I have two of these West Texas tractors. Their tags are 61 numbers apart. One has the ES suffix and the other is a DS. The tanks are made by Wendland Mfg. in San Angelo, Texas. The tanks are dated 1954.
I've seen another MTA like these at the Temple tractor show. It was very much unrestored and in work clothes.

This is the other tractor, showing a closeup of the valve assembly.

Thank You Stew,
Wondering; is the hood same as gas hood or is it modified?
Seems like there is a added piece between hood and tank.
You can p.m. me if you like.
Thank you for your efforts!, Tony
