Yea,Me again! :)

Can I buy the clutch pedal bushing at IH/CNH or is there a BETTER source for it???

1953 Super M Farmall(But you ALREADY knew that! lol)

To the best of my knowledge, and after looking at the parts list there isn't one. The metal of the pedal (excuse the pun like words) Is in contact with the brake pedal cross shaft. To repair it is rebushed locally to the shaft size. If the shaft is worn, the solutions are to turn the shaft down to a just less than the wear, then ream the new fabricated bushing to .0015 to .002" bigger.
The other way is to remove the shaft and have it welded back to size and turned/ground to original diameter, then use a bushing to the same spec as above. Be sure to drill for the grease Zerk. Jim

buy a couple wrist pin bushings for the diesel 282 pistons and have the machine shop ream the pedal and install the bushing.

I take the shaft and the pedal to a machine shop and he makes a new shaft and puts in the right bushing.

You can buy the shaft from S teiners, OEM, etc as well. IIRC it is a $60 part. My machine shop will buy the shaft when they are busy or make it when they are slow/not ordering other stuff. Think about the time it takes to make it and it is probably a wash. The then bush the pedals to the correct size.

If you want to half do the job you can just buy the new shaft. That should take out half your slop (in theory)

On the side the 1941 H I just bought has about 1/8" movement in the pedal!!! The drawbar also shows only SLIGHT wear. The tractor must have never been used.

I had the clutch pedal repaired on my Farmall 400, I provided a bushing with an ID of 1", OD 1.25" and the appropriate length. The machine shop bored the pedal to 1.25", installed the bushing and then bored the bushing to 1.128" to fit the shaft.
