Unsticking fuel lines from flare nuts on D282

I want to try and bleed the lines on this engine. When I turn the flare nuts, some of the lines try and twist with the nuts. Should I try and heat them up a bit with a torch and let them cool? What is the best way to do this? Any advice is appreciated!

i have run into this also and have used a small vise grip to hold the line and work the nut loose.and spray it with lube. be careful dont want to colapse the line.all depends on how siezed the nut is though. heat should work.

This happens all the time here in the rust belt with auto brake lines. What I do is heat the line and the nut to dull red and then crack it loose very slightly, let it cool, spray with lube ( I use motor oil ) and turn it the rest of the way off. Then some anti-sieze on the line and on the nut threads and back together. Works everytime for me.

Did this many times soak with good penetrate let it work in around where the line goes in the nut. With the 3/4 wrench you will be useing I tap the nuts and lines, soak some more and tap. Then being carefull try breaking the nut loose if it does squirt some more penetrate and use the wrench back and forth as you takeing it off
