Farmall H missing

Got a 43 H. Runs fine when just idling or light load. If you crack the throttle quick or get a good load on it misses on 2 cylinders. Havent tried anything yet as I dont want to just blindly throw parts at it. Has a magneto and plugs were new last fall. Thanks

Miss under load that is cyl specific is normally ignition, clean the plugs for starters.

check the point gap and clean them - that's free.

Another free test - see if the problem happens while the engine's choked a little - half way or so - experiment.

Might be starving for fuel.

I like pete's answer.
Pull and ground one plug at a time till you find which two are missing. Change the missing plugs to a different hole that was working, if the misfire follows the plug that is is. Change plug wires between holes to see if that changes the misfire. A bad cap and rotor can be a contributor to this. Jim

I'd also add clean the inside of the distributor cap.
