I just got a farmall 200 today it has the fast hitch with the 3pt arms. my question is how do I get my rear lift to float? I have a 6 foot disc I want to use but if it don't float won't it lift my rear wheels off the ground when I go across a dip?

thanks I ran out side there is a pin. now what does the linkage on the left side with the slot and hole by the break do? let your attachment tilt?

Yes. You would want to do both with a disk.

Usually on the left side there's a heavy bar that runs up to your Touch Control. This is for side-to-side tilt adjustments while plowing.

Sounds like you have the fixed bracket. I'm not sure if, or how you adjust that.

Are you talking about a curved link piece about a foot long which contains both a hole and a slot? If so, that piece is called the bell crank lock strap. That piece is used for trailing implements controlled with gauge wheels like planters and rear mounted cultivators. When pinning the leveling bellcrank in the slotted position it permits limited range of side to side float to follow the ground contour as necessiated by the gauge wheels. The trailing implement when raised using this position will be somewhat off level. To keep the implement level with the tractor rear axle insert the pin through the round hole and the leveling bellcrank when using trailing implements without gauge wheels. When using the lock strap you need to remove the leveling link (the approx. 4 foot long piece that runs to the touch control unit) from the tractor. I believe all of this information should be included in an Operator's Manual on a Farmall 200 tractor but is contained in an IH Operator's Manual supplement (1004220R4) for the Super C as the fast hitch was introduced in mid-production and is not in the original manual. I would suggest you obtain an Operator's Manual for your new tractor as you will find it is invaluable in the proper use of the tractor and it's designed features. Hope all of this helps somewhat in your understanding the use of your fast hitch, Hal.
