1948 Farmall Super A-V with attachments in the shop. Giving it the once over.
Looks all good, noticed that clutch will not completely disengage...ok in neutral to roll it, extremely stiff in gear with pedal depressed.
Did these have a graphite TO bearing like the cub? Any suggestions on this?

In the photo, can anyone identify an oval hole in the bellhousing, port side? Looks like it may have had a cap?

I assume it's a matter of loosening the old girl up...it's been sitting for a couple years, I heard.

Yes, there was cap there. That's an access hole enabling you to grease the throw out bearing sleeve. Those spring type caps are on e-bay quite often.

You forgot it als greases the thro-out bearing. There is no way to lube the pilot bearing in the crank without splitting tractor
