locking fuel cap

I am searching for a lockable fuel cap for my IH 574 tractor part #538063R1,IH case dealership not available checked auto store no luck, does anyone know where to locate one, thanks. P. Leff.

Somebody stealing your fuel?Set a 5 gallon can of water(and a funnel) on the ground under the fuel tank.The would be thief will just take the can and leave the tractor alone.You will find the thief(and his car) just a little ways down the road...

not knowing how big the cap is, why can't you drill a hole and put in some type of lock with key, long flat lever that swings inside cap to out side of filer neck..like on vending machines, pinball games, etc,,just a thought..

if you can't afford one, put a sticker next to
your gas cap that says:
"Smile, your picture has just been taken by a hidden game camera"

An old high school buddy was caught this way. A good ole' boy farmer had finally had enough and left a 5 gallon can of water with maybe a half gallon of gas. Gas floats ... your thief will check the can, smell gas and will be happy to leave.

Fuel pumps draw from the bottom of the tank where ... 4.5 gallons or more of water had just settled, well submerging the pump.

He was found about 1.5 miles down the road. The next morning after running a registration ... he was hauled to jail.
