706 engine weight

going to splitted 706 to replace clutch what will the front half weight?

Over the years as I have been designing my splitting stands that I sell I have checked the weight of a few tractor engines after they were split. A 560 diesel with flywheel in place tips the scale at a little over 900 lbs. A 656 with gas engine only weights about 700 lbs when split.
When splitting a tractor remimber that half of the engine weight is supported by the front axle.
I have not checked a 706 but it should not be much different. Hope this helps, charlie
