Glow plugs.

Very interesting the past thread about burning out glow plugs when using a battry charger for a boost start.I just found i have 3 out of 6 bad!! Thanks for the heads up!! Bud and Stinky.

That will make a HUGE difference with your 460!

At least you caught it before you burned out all 6 like I did. Thankfully I found them for $12.50 apiece but with shipping just buying a battery in the first place would have been cheaper. Glad you could learn from my mistake!

I bought 6 off e-bay and im wondering if i should put all 6 in new and save the working 3 for spares?? On the bright side,i diddn't wear the tires this winter! Bud.

That is what I usually do. I usually check glow plugs in the Spring and Fall.

We have bought two or three sets of glow plugs at O Reillys, I just take in an old one and they match it with a new one and they are cheap!
