SMTA movement

We had our SMTA sitting in the barn for 6 months, when parked everything worked perfect including the TA, after starting it and driveing it around we noticed when stopping on a small incline when putting the clutch in the tractor will not roll backwards, plus the TA has no effect on changeing gears, HELP

Thanks

The TA clutch (smaller conventional clutch system) is stuck to the pressure plate. Pulling a load, or starting in 5th TA and full throttle letting out the clutch rapidly (safely) will probnably instick it. It is just rusted to the pressure plate or TA housing. If that does not work, the TA throwout bearing or linkage to it could be out of adjustment or bad. Jim

I was able to do as was suggested on our SMTA and it worked to free up the TA and all is work great, Thankyou for that advice, much appreciated
