806 head on a 560??

Will an 806 gasser head (C301) fit on a 560 gasser (C263). Head is cracked on my bros 560.

No. 806 has flat top pistons, 560 has dome. 806 head is what I think they call a closed chamber head & 560 is open chamber.

Just checked the CIH parts and they show the same part number for both a c-301 or a c-263.

There are two different style heads for the C-263 depending on what type of pistons they were to be used with. The original 560 head will be different than one for a 706 or 656 because they use different style pistons. As long as the pistons are matched to the head they will all be usable on all the different blocks.
