I have a farmall m with a mw hand clutch and Im wanting to remove it from the tractor. Im wonder if there was a manual out there of the removal of the hand clutch? also was wondering what all parts will be needed to put the m back together with out the hand clucth? Thanks for any helpful hints tricks or information.

Jess I"ve had mine on my H apart many times and could talk you through it. Why are you wanting to remove it from the M? I know where you can easily get parts for the hand clutch and the tractor is more versitale with it. You"d have to find a salvage tractor to tear apart to get the parts you need to go back original. If I were you though I"d keep the hand clutch on there.

If you wish to sell it please let me know.

I'm with Seth.Keep the clutch on!the only reason to remove it is if you are makeing a "puller".I've had a clutch on my SM for over 20 years. That unit gives An M 'live' pto,and makes your tractor more useful-and valuable.

Vollbracht's in Columbus NE. I believe it's Dennis you'll speak with there. 402-564-5993

He has new clutch plates and had all seals and bearings for them when I ordered stuff about 4 years ago.
