Farmall H steering washer

Hi, Could someone tell me the correct size of washers that goes into the steering yoke to asct as woodruff keys, right next to the gas tank.

It uses a 3/8 bolt.A standard 3/8 washer will not work.it is a special extra thick and smaller diameter 'washer'.Its possible you could stack several smaller(5/16?)washers and drill out to the correct hole size.I would recomend getting the right 'washer' and not some cheap'hillbilly' fix.

A lot of the time the washer gets worn and the yoke end up loose on the shaft. If your yoke has a keyway slot opposite the bolt just use a Woodruff key. You can then use the bolt to clamp the yoke tight to the shaft.

My H had a woodruff key there when I got it, and the first several parts Hs I bought did too. I didn't find the round washer in one till last week, and I saved it to put in my H since the woodruff key keeps falling out every now and then.

I taped mine to my steering shaft when I had my H apart and still lost it somehow. IIRC I used a woodruff key.
