I looked at an m today, serial #fbk 105739 x6 Chicago Ill. 1595. I understand it was made in 46 but I don"t uderstand the fbk x6 or 1595. It also had a mw clutch tag and housing on left side I"m not familiar with. Single front tire. 3pt hitch. Hydraulic line from both sides of tractor. I will try to get pictures soon. Any thoughts? Thank you. Brian.

Brian, FBK is the serial # prefix that lets you know you're looking at an M. X6 tells you of certian options- I don't remember offhand, Somebody else with the book in fron of them could tell you. 1595 is the rated no load rpm of the engine. M+W clutch gives you "live" PTO and Hydraulics, if still using belly pump. -Andy

The hydraulic outlet ports on the sides of the tractor's torque tube work at the same time. You pull the lever and oil shoots out all of them at once.

It was just easier to plumb each of the 2 cylinders on the 3pt hitch that way.
