Will a M & W hydraulic pump off a M fit on a H? Both tractors have the rear facing horizontal distributor.

I do not think they will work. The gears are also
different. The tractor needs to be older than mid
1950 to allow the pump to bolt up, and it is best
practices to change the gears to late model to avoid
cam gear breakage. Jim

I was kind of afraid that might be the case. Both tractors happen to be distillate models. Thank you for the reply, I really enjoy your input on the Farmall forum.
