WD-9 Starting Crank Storage

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a starting crank storage bracket or location for the WD-9? I have been looking through the parts book and am not able to find anything.
 
i just keep mine on the side of engine like the w6's, i have not seen a crank bracket for the 9's. never know when you need it to get out of a bind.

That's where I have mine now. I set it betwen the engine block and the frame tub on the carb side. Not sure I want to do that once I get the tractor painted. :shock:
 
There was no factory bracket. The easiest place is in the frame tub along side the engine.

WR-9 crank laid on the right side (distributor) of the engine. There was a two prong clip bolted to the bellhousing bolt circle that holds the handle.

Realizing yours is a WD-9 so could be different.
 
Thanks for the help guys! As you mentioned, mine has just been stored in the space between the engine and chassis. I was just hoping someone might have some insight into a bracket that may clean up the look a bit more.

I think I might have the remnants of that on my WD-9. It is near where the hyd hoses went back to the pump so I figured it was for the hoses. You can't really see it well, but it might help hammer out the location. You can see it on the 2nd(?) bolt up from the bottom.
