Belt drive interchangeable

Hi
Is a belt drive unit from a W series or M interchangeable and will it fit on an H. The mounting seems to be the same.

There are two different sizes of belt pulley drives: M-size and H-size.

The M-size will fit M, W-6, 400, 450, 560.
The H-size will fit H, W-4, 300, 350, 460.

(I'm not 100% sure about the 460/560 fit so don't quote me on that.)

The pullys will interchange, the gear boxes or drive's will not.

Yes, the pulleys WILL interchange. Made that way on purpose so you could select the pulley with the proper O.D. to achieve the belt speed in feet-per-minute required by the threshing machine, buzz saw, etc., etc.
