Box Blade Size for an M?

Looking to pick up a box blade in the spring to fix my road but am a little unsure about size.

Im thinking 66"-72" Land Pride or King Kutter, any suggestions or what are you guys using? Should I set the wheels all the way out or in?

On a road I don't think it will make that much difference. When working in more natural settings like lanes on the back of fields, etc a smaller width will give you less trouble with bogging down.

I just asked this question and settled on a 7 footer. The local dealer quoted me $1150 for a land pride 6 foot box blade. List was something like $1200. I bought my 7' blade from Everythingattachments.com (no I have no affiliation with them at all). The Extreme duty 7' blade is a pretty serious piece of steel. I paid $1183 delivered and I am glad I did. I believe its a better blade and it's a foot wider for about the same price. Oh, plus it's American made and free shipping within 1000 miles of their place in North Carolina.

Yea,this was just discuused the other day.The 7' would be the best "all a round user". Pulling HARD CLAY dirt,I cannot even imagine pulling an 8' !!!!!!
