Rare lookig 504

Never really seen a 504 with a belly mower before. The yellow paint makes me think it was ordered as some sort of industrial model with the mower. Wonder if it's worth 3,200?

This mower setup was offered by IH, but the mower may have been sourced by IH from another manufacturer. Probably a setup for highway crews. I can't think of the model of the mower offhand, but it's in IH's parts books.

I wonder what hitch type it has (if any)? I don't see a TA or shuttle shift lever, and the seat suspension may have been altered, but the pics aren't closeups, either.

Looks like and old ODOT mowing tractor. Remember
seeing units just like it a while back.

Looks like a factory seat but I don t see a hitch.
Without a hitch I would not be interested(add on is
what $1000.00)

I bet that is a heavy duty mower. If it's in good
shape it could be a pretty good value.

I own one like it. The mower is a Danuser 2-spindle which makes a 6' swath.You are correct in that there is no rear hitch of any kind.
