806 clutch pedal

I put a 856 platform on my 806 and was wondering how far the clutch pedal should travel from all the way up to all the way down. I dont know if its the same, since i had an ice cream box cab platform on it. The 856 platform is angled up in the front. Should the pedal just go down until it hits the platform? I will have to weld a small piece for the pedal to stop so i was just wondering how important it was.
Thanks

The pedal needs about an inch and a quarter free play to assure Throwout bearing retraction from fingers. Position the pedal so it feels correct on your foot (stop placement), then set free play.
