Hand Clutch on WD-9

The serial number is different. The pg 10 of Guy Fays "Originality Guide - Farmall Letter Series" says WDR-9-RDCB. I thought it was just RDCB. Basically it will have Rs in it. I could tell my parts engine serial number was a rice one right away from the prefix.
The reason I ask is because some guy up in Cornell, WI parted out a WDR-9 and didn't even know what he had. He calls himself a "professional" tractor parter. That tractor had rice fenders and everything!

The hand clutch was optional on the regular 9 models and standard on the rice 9 models. A very common option. It should have W16 suffix on the serial number. (Example WDCB#####W16)
