Got my 1931 F30 out today

Hey guys here is another Harry Lee tractor I got recently. This is a 1931 F30 serial # 943 with all #s good. It still has the schebler carb as well. I just installed the steel wheels front and rear and had to get it out today and go for a drive. Some of you guys was talking about the F30 starter setups well here it is. Really well installed and looks about as close to factory as you could get. Works great. Enjoy, Dwayne

Nice tractor!
Sorry, I must have missed the earlier posts about the very slick starter setup - -where did it come from and what starter is used?
Thanks & Regards!
John

Dwayne, Do you know if the bell housing for the starter was made or modified by Harry Lee? I have an F20 with a starter but I know my dad bought an after market starter kit that included a new bell housing. Never saw an F30 with a starter. If that was home made, it sure looks like it could have come from the factory. Al

Looks great! I like the Farmall 30 decal. I have always wanted to get a Farmall 30 decal set for my f-30.

Hey guys as far as the starter setup Harry and another local fellow John Jones designed the starter setup and done a fantastic job as far as I am concerned and he had several F30 tractors with this same setup. On the tank decals if you look in the old archive pictures early F30 tractors had this decal. I dont know how long they used this style but that is where I am sure Harry got the idea. This is an early tractor but I am not sure about the right serial # for this early style of decals. I added a couple of pictures as what it looked like before the steel was installed. Also might be in the market to sell the 28 in round spokes and diamond tread tires that came off of this tractor.

Dwayne, at the mile long plow deal a few years ago there was and ole boy there with a 30 cane and that starter setup on it and i talked to him for a bit. He said he talked to Harry about them and got his from the place you mentioned in Indiana (cant rememebr the name right now) so im sure they still might be avaiable. If they are, i want one for my 30 Cane
