International 444 gas

Just bought an IH 444 gas job, motor is stuck from sitting although it had a raincap 10 years outdoors did it no good, there is antifreeze in the radiator, and plain oil in the pan, has anyone ever had any luck putting penetrating iol in the cylinders and letting it sit to free it up or should I just bite the bullet and start pulling it down?

Search the archives, there are hundreds of recipes for concoctions to free stuck engines, unless you need the tractor real soon I'd look up some of the recipes and give them a try. Examples are Kroil oil, PB Blaster, brake fluid & motor oil, Motor oil & kerosene, any of the above mixed with diesel fuel, WD-40 and oil or fuel. If it's a gear drive tractor I know some folks that have jacked up a rear wheel and after adding the witches brew at regular intervals try moving the rear wheel with the tractor in high gear. If you get it free before you tear it down your tear down will go easier and I think you would have lees chance of messing up parts.
