560 valves or injector ?

560 diesel. I hear air escaping through the exhaust. Smokes blue like crazy and puffs more when I hear the air. Valve job, or injector ? Headgasket leaks a little oil by lifter cover. Thanks. A.P.

Probably exhaust valve, recheck by just cranking with fuel off, see if it sounds any louder. Can verify which cylinder by loostening each fuel line, when fuel is removed from weak cylinder smoke will be gone or much less if you have more than 1 weak cylinder.
