Can someone tell me the gear shift pattern on a Regular so I can put it in high gear to pull start it. Thankyou, Mark.

try pulling in couple diff. gears and you will figure it out.if your rear wheels want to skid and not turn the engine , you need a higher gear.
traction depends if you have lugs on the rear, no lugs just steel or rubber tires.

Regulars and F series are hard to pull, becaues of the gear reduction rear,Use a pull tractor in a low speed or a speed no faster than your Regular

This is true, mine will drag the rear tires even in 3rd when pull starting, but it will then catch and spin the motor over pretty good. The shift pattern is like a H-shape but 2nd and 3rd are switched from what you are usually used to seeing. So 3rd is forward toward the gas tank and 2nd is back towards you.
