Oil pan removal from a International 460 utility tractor

Hello, I'm trying to remove the oil pan from my IH 460 utility tractor to repair a hole in it. I have all the bolts removed but I can't get it out because of the braces that go to the front axles don't leave enough space for the pan to slip through. I would really appreciate any help that you would provide.

It's not particularly easy. I think you have to disconnect the brace at the rear of the oil pan.

Thanks for the information, I already have the brace loosened from it's contact point at the rear of the oil pan, but after looking through the shop manual that I have, I think I have to loosen both of the front axle clamps and also remove the pivot pin in order to get the center portion of the front axle to pivot towards the ground so it would be out of the way. I do have the tractor jacked up and supported by blocking so there is no weight on the front axle.

Yes,, I think that is correct-- I had my 460HU completely disassembled a few years ago. I put the axle back on first, then realized the oil pan had to go on first, so I did it twice. The axle did not cooperate with me very much.

I was hoping that I would receive a reply that supported what I intend to do. Thanks so much for verifying that it is necessary to remove or at least partially dis-assemble the front axle in order to remove the oil pan.
