I am looking for anyone who would know about a starter kit for an F-30. I would like to get one but haven't had much luck yet. Thanks

If you have another tractor with a belt pulley you can use a flat belt to the F30's pulley to start it or pull start it. Hal

Last ones I knew of were the ones Harry Lee was making and he is no longer with us. Dwayne at rusticredacres bought a lot of parts from him, if anybody knows about them it will be him.

custom made in your great state!

(quoted from post at 19:02:02 02/22/12) lucky for me I am still spry enough to operate the crank!

i am too, but i figure since im putting an inline genny and lights on the Cane, why not throw a starter on it?!!?!? lol

To find the parts are costs you probably dont want to pay. Easy way to do it is add a flywheel from a car and fasten it to the short drive shaft between the engine and tranny then build a bracket for the starter used with that flywheel and presto you nave a starter. Now add a generator and battery and no more cranking with the crank. Ive seen it done and they will work well. Stops broken arms ect.

one thing i should point out on the starter kits that are built in indiana, they are NICE and they are the same exact setup that Heisler made for the F-20's except the 30 conversion has the starter above the framerail instead of underneath of it. No homemade shadetree fab on these ones. its also part of the reason they cost what they do, but ive seen them in person and id spend the 1K before i slapped some car parts on it

Guys if you are serious I dont think it can be done for a 1000.00 bucks. The work has to be done and setup by him and at his shop so he knows that it is right. John Jones at Odon, Indiana does the setup. I have one if you wish to see what it looks like. I could post a picture for you to see. Dwayne Rustic Red Acres

A 30 with starter and lights would be sweet. But I'm gonna have to find a sugar momma first, this daughter of mine is getting expensive to maintain ! LOL!
