Farmall 560 D injection pump & injectors

Have the injectors and pump removed from engine. Going to have tested. Going to have bigger leaf spring,660 governor spring, external fuel screw housing installed. Anything else I need to have done to these parts while at diesel shop ? Turning about 95 horse right now . I know about the drive train in this model. It already has M&W turbo kit . Has had since new.

YOU are pushing the outer limits of that engine wright now . we have been down this road many years ago . If ya want it to keep on living a happy life for it and your self then leave it where it is at . If you try to go where no 560 has gone before you had best start gathern up lots of spare parts and become really good friends with a machine shop. BTDT.

Do you have the later style midget injectors they will flow better. What size pump do you have?I have a 370 on one of mine. That engine can turn 2600rpm like in the combines and trucks.I have three of them with turbos and tortured them pretty bad haven't come un glued yet.

looks to be .310 plunger dia. If I'm reading pump number correctly. Going to be midget nozzles when done. Turning about 2350 rpm now. Should I go with 660 or 706 governor spring ? What will work for the most torque and power ?

same as the 660 tractor its no load high rpm is 2600 rpm. just basically speeded up the rpm from 1965 in the 560 to 2600 in the 660 using the same engine.

One of my 560 has a 301 combine engine turns 2800rpm it has a TO4 garrett turbo with a small exhaust housing and wheel makes over 20lb boost. If you use 706 settings that is 2300rpm with no turbo thats around 70+hp.The other 560 I have has a pump off a 806 direct bolt on with the 806 settings to much fuel need to set the leaf spring back some this pump has the 370 head and rotor it has the M&W turbo not enough boost yet for the present fuel setting. You can take out the sleeves on the 282 and make it a 301 just a thought.

Talked to Diesel shop yesterday. they are going to install bigger leaf spring and tighten it up . heavier govoner spring, new body with external fuel screw on it. Don't need the horsepower all the time. Just want it if I need it. I will just be pulling a 4-14 or 5-14 #16 plow depending on the soil type and moisture.
