Farmall 300

I am trying to buy a farmall. 300. It is 1955 model. It has power steering,aftermarket three point, also has fenders. It has a loader on it with a hydraulic bucket. Good rear tires but they don"t match.it has a small tank added for extra hydraulic oil. Looks like fair original paint ,must have been shredded. The po said everything works good except the ta doesn"t work.the front bolster was recently rebuilt. A dealer has it,he is asking $2900 is this a fair price? Thanks for your advice.

around here, middle tennessee, the tractor alone, would bring $1500 to $3000, depending on condition.

If a DEALER is only asking $2900 for it, there is something major wrong with the tractor...

That tractor with nothing but a bad TA is a $5000 tractor on a dealer's lot.

I talked to the po again today he said the dealer allowed him $2500 on trade for a 656. I don't know where your located but $5000 will buy a pretty decent 706 here in Iowa.
