Hauling Tractors and Parts

I have a question on hiring someone to haul for you. How do you insire that they are legitimate? I know most all the people dealing with the old iron are on the up and up. If someone answers an ad to have something hauled, how does a person be certain of their legitimacy?
 
I would want to personally know someone that hired them before. I talked to the implement dealers and found a person that hauls for them.
 
if the dont have a problem picking things up and getting paid when they drop it off, they are legit. if they even ask for any amount of money down they're shady

ive used the hauling schedule on her to have things brought to me, and for me to find backhauls and have had ZERO issues
 
Larry , MAKE SURE THEY HAVE HAUL INSURANCE,,a must ,if they dont have it dont waste your time,I have a guy that I use he is good at what he does hauls for dealers all the time,Tom Green 989-640-1510 he is in Mi not sure where you are the price gets better with back hauls be flexible
 
I haul all the time for individuals. I will give names for references, and will fax you a copy of the cargo insurance if you like. I run the whole 47 states no Canada Mexico ( no Canadian or Mexican authority ). or California.
