Zenith carb idling jet

I am in the process of restoring a 1941 IH Model A. During the carb rebuild, I damaged the idling jet. I was eventually able to remove the jet without further damage. I am now looking for a replacement jet. I have found one person who has the jet in stock but he wants $80.00 for a new one.

The OEM carb number is 52499D and the Zenith number is 9167(4 or A).

Can anyone provide the name of a supplier who may have the jet? Since only the slot at the top of the jet was damaged could I dress it up and reuse the jet? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the Zenith number is not 9752?

A complete rebuild kit sells for under $30 and that jet is included.

If you have not damaged the hole in the jet and it still screws into carb and seats there is no reason you could not reuse it.
