Super C Farmall

I recently installed a C-153 in my Super "C".
I was wondering ,since the gas engine from a Farmall 504 did fit in the Super C fairly easily .
Will a diesel engine from a 504 Farmall fit as well?
Anyone know if it will or has someone done one already using the diesel engine?

Please advise,
Tx,

Well that's a matter of opinion.
I was raised on a C farmall and now have 2 Super C's that I use very often.
These were great little tractors except they were always under powered.
I only regret not going with the C- 135.
The 153 has a little too much power for the light weight tractor .
When you give it the throttle in 1-3rd gears it speeds up a little too fast.

Probably, but you will need to verify. I have used a 123 engine on a 200 most of my life and the little engine will spin the wheels in 3rd pulling a plow. I do not know why you want that much power for such a small frame. FYI the French did use some Diesel engins in SC's from the factory.

Well I guess you must have one of those exceptional 123's.
I have never seen one that will pull a 2-14" bottom in 3rd let alone spin the wheels in normal soil conditions.Second ,yes 3rd I don't think so.
