Where can I get the correct bowl assembly fora m without going to the dealer? They want $58 for one. All the ones I've found have a smaller hole for the gas line, with an adapter at about 1/2 price. Will the smaller hole slow fuel flow enough to notice? thanks
 
You can get from Bates Corporation, Easy Bob's and Tractor supply for around $36.00. Steiners has them but as high as dealer. If you get from Tractor supply look it over good. Ihave got parts that would fit.
 
After looking,I see what you are talking about.They start with a 1/8 pipe and adapt it to the compression fitting.

I dont think it would hurt anything,but I think the correct assembly is still available.

BTW,DO NOT buy any with the plastic sediment bowl!
 
I bought one a couple years ago on ebay for about $23. It had a amber colored plastic bowl. Subsitute your glass bowl and the metal bail that holds the bowl on and it will look like the old original you took off.
 

I've got the original lever style in stock. Glass bowl, no adaptor needed, and inspected to make sure it will shut off.
