auxillary hydraulics needed on 300 Utility

I am looking for auxillary valves for my 300 but every parts tractor so far doesn't have the extra valves, just the hitch control valve. Am I limited to finding the blocks that bolt on to the first one or can I use the hitch control block off of the other tractors I am finding? I have only seen them in pictures so I have no idea if the expansion blocks are different from the block that bolts directly to the hydraulic reservoir. I would like to add a few extra levers before spring comes but I am not sure if I have found the parts I need yet. :?

Neilc, I have 3 valves on my 300 utility. The two front valves control the loader and rear valve controls the hitch. The rear also has the flow-divider for the PS. The two front valves look to be the same as on a 300 or 400 row-crop, but the handles are different. Parts book should verify that. Also, I think you need some piping to connect the two sets. I believe the handles from a 600 or 650 will work too as I took one off of a 300 utility to put on my 650-D. Could send pictures but sounds like you already have them. Al

yes I have been looking at some pics of some 300's and 350's online but I didn't get a parts book yet. I guess what I'm asking is if I get another valve like I have that controls the fast hitch, is it going to bolt on and match up? I haven't had this one apart so I don't know what's in there as far as ports, springs etc. If you can post pics that'd be great, thank you.

Neilc, I looked at the CNH on-line parts. On the 300 utility it shows rear valve is 365981R91 and the two front valves are 365985R91. The 650 also uses the 365985R91. On the 300 row crop the 1st valve is 365983R91 and the 2 extra valves are 365447R91, yet the internals seem to be the same. The 300 Row Crop appears to have an extension piece that allows you to change from single to double acting through the hood. So they might work but can't tell for sure. Don't think you can bolt it to the rear one as that has the regulator and/or PS flow divider. But you will need 300 utility handles. I have a spare valve from a 400 and I will check if any number is stamped on it. I will post a couple of pictures of my 300 utility valves when I get out to the farm. Maybe someone that is an expert can reply. Al

Neilc, I took a couple of pictures of the 3 valves on the 300 utility. Pictures are not the best because I have the winter heat houser on it and couldn't get any side pictures. The valves are connected by a pipe that originates from the flow divider/regulator. Not sure if this pipe is because of the P/S or if all 300's have this. If you don't have this pipe on your single valve, maybe you can just add the 2nd valve to it. Basicly on a row crop the 3 valves are all bolted together. Send me an email if you have more questions. Hope this helps. Al

That's great thank you for the pics and info. Seeing things close up like that helps me a lot. I don't have that line from the flow divider and mine doesn't have PS. Now it's got me thinking that if I can run a line from there to a more modern style remote block with quick connectors maybe I can put a that on instead of tracking down the original blocks/levers. I did call Chown Tractor parts in New Brunswick yesterday but I am waiting for a call to see if they have them. It would be nice to stay original but I just want it functional more than correct. Does anybody else have these newer fittings/remotes installed? Thanks again AJB-830 that really helped! :)
