I have one and wondering if i would be better switching it our and finding another for a 1952 Farmall H?

It is straight, and paint is good but has a chip in the paint.

Letme know what you gues think.

Do you mean a `39 grill, as the H didn`t come into production untill 1939. If you have a `39 grill in good shape , it`s worth more to someone restoring their `39 H. There are differences in the `39 grills like the dzus nuts and lack of "hump" on top where hood meets, just a ledge for hood to lay on. A regular H grill shouldn`t be too hard to find . A straight `39 grill isn`t real easy to find-definitely worth more than later H grills.

Whatever it is I wouldn't worry about a chip in the paint. Odds are it won't match the tractor it eventually gets installed on anyway, and will need a paint job.
